Megan Forbes wrote: Mpumalanga Lowveld How one pronouces that? :omg: I'm from São Paulo, Brazil. I lived all my life here, although I travelled a lot inside Brazil and I know almost all regions of Brazil, but never went to another country. I live in a high building (23th floor) on a very high place in São Paulo, and my view of the city at night is more or less this[^]: (I don't own a webCam). During the day, when I'm at home my view is this park[^]. If you do some triangulation and have a good map of São Paulo, you can find my exact home address :)

Following on from WiB's thread below - where are you from, and where are you currently living / working? Perhaps this will help with some travel / CPian get-together ideas  I'll start: I'm South African, from the Mpumalanga Lowveld (think Kruger Park, Blyde River Canyon) and am currently living in England on the outskirts of London, while working in Kent.

I've been living in South Carolina for about 11 years now, I've lived in Connecticut and NY prior to that. I'm just over 2 metres tall, love long walks on the beach, and romantic candlelight dinners. .... I work in Spartanburg,Sc. Which is sort of like Greenville's blue collar cousin. Nice town. I spent a day and night there about 2 years ago. I took a tour through the Semperoper, and walked through Residenzschloss (I think). It is right next to the Opera house. I wish I had more time to see more. BW "In a world full of people, only some want to fly,Isn't that crazy?" - Seal

Well I'm an escaped Northumbrian (I'm from Bishop Auckland in County Durham, about 12 miles north of Darlington in North East England), but since 1985 I've been down in the South East (originally to go to Uni, but I stuck around after graduation). At the moment I'm living in Basingstoke (North Hampshire)...a place I describe as The Land of a Thousand Roundabouts because it sums up the only way to get anywhere around the town. Hint: you need a car and outlandish skills at avoiding high speed collisions on roundabouts.
