Following on from WiB's thread below - where are you from, and where are you currently living / working? Perhaps this will help with some travel / CPian get-together ideas  I'll start: I'm South African, from the Mpumalanga Lowveld (think Kruger Park, Blyde River Canyon) and am currently living in England on the outskirts of London, while working in Kent.

I live in Glasgow, Scotland - I was born here and have never found any compelling reason to leave.

Daniel Turini wrote: Mpumalanga Lowveld How one pronouces that? Hard to tell you in typing, but Mpumalanga means "Place of the rising sun", and Lowveld just means it's at the bottom of the escarpment, tapering out towards the sea (although we lose any potential coastline to Mocambique in our province). Daniel Turini wrote: live in a high building (23th floor) on a very high place in São Paulo, and my view of the city at night is more or less this[^]: Detailed directions! :-D

I've been living in South Carolina for about 11 years now, I've lived in Connecticut and NY prior to that. I'm just over 2 metres tall, love long walks on the beach, and romantic candlelight dinners. .... I work in Spartanburg,Sc. Which is sort of like Greenville's blue collar cousin. Nice town. I spent a day and night there about 2 years ago. I took a tour through the Semperoper, and walked through Residenzschloss (I think). It is right next to the Opera house. I wish I had more time to see more. BW "In a world full of people, only some want to fly,Isn't that crazy?" - Seal

Canadian; lived and traveled (travelled?) all over South East Asia as a kid; now finishing off university in Waterloo (near Toronto and the CP servers :-D) and have had co-op jobs in most of the major cities in Canada.
