I was born and raised in Sweden and I still work and live there. The city of Karlstad to be specific. This is Sweden[^]. If you click the map you can read more about it. You can find the location of Karlstad here[^]. Karlstad is located south east of Oslo, and West of Stockholm, north of the big lake (Vänern). You can find official information about Karlstad here[^]. I live here[^]. I work here[^]. -- Berlin rules.
:jealous look: You have the luck live where I used to make my holidays. I was canooing on the Dalsland/Värmland lakes, and we used to take the train to (or from) Karlstad. Back then (early nienties) we used to sleep right on the banks of the Klarälven (in the park in the city centre, where it forms two arms). It was a great time back then. :(( *shuffeling off - muttering in its beard how the sun is not as bright as it used to be*

Following on from WiB's thread below - where are you from, and where are you currently living / working? Perhaps this will help with some travel / CPian get-together ideas  I'll start: I'm South African, from the Mpumalanga Lowveld (think Kruger Park, Blyde River Canyon) and am currently living in England on the outskirts of London, while working in Kent.

Photography[^]I'm living in Lexington, Kentucky, USA, (properly pronounced, "Kaaaintucky"). Wasn't born here, but I'm pretty much "from" here. ;Daniel Turini wrote: Mpumalanga Lowveld How one pronouces that? Hard to tell you in typing, but Mpumalanga means "Place of the rising sun", and Lowveld just means it's at the bottom of the escarpment, tapering out towards the sea (although we lose any potential coastline to Mocambique in our province).
