I installed VS.Net under one user but I now run it with a different user. VS.Net runs fine except when I try to view any documentation on the .NET SDK. When I view that documentation the Windows Installer pops up and says it's configuring VS.NET. If I allow it to run to completion it errors and says it can't find the VS code. The first time I view documentation it attempts to run 3 times. After that it only runs once. This is extremely annoying and I can't seem to find a fix for it. Has anybody else encountered this issue or know how to solve it? Jared jparsons@jparsons.org www.prism.gatech.edu/~gte477n

I have a similar problem that I cannot seem to defeat as well ... except mine happens every time I run VS .NET IDE. Windows Installer pops up saying it has to install something. I let it run the first few go-rounds, but it keeps coming up. Now I just hit CANCEL and move on with life. Still very annoying though. I un-installed and re-installed, but stil no go. I un-installed and installed on another machine, no problem at all. The machine I had the problem on is a laptop with a Pentium M chip. Wonder if that has anything to do with it? (probably not...but I remember back in the day with Oracle 9i, it would not install properly on a P4 without a few minor modifications made to the install files)
