Anybody know of some tutorials or online reference material that covers P2P programming? So far via google I've only found this[^] so I'm now going through the sad process of downloading the JRE and SDK :-( I'm specifically looking for any .net p2p implementation material. Thanks! Woke up this morning...and got myself a blog

Don't know about .NET specifically, but DirectPlay (which is part of DirectX) has some features for sending information over a network. (BTW, you'll probably get reminded about posting programming questions in the lounge.) ------------------------------------------ Law of Nazi Analogies: As an online discussion grows longer, the probability of a comparison involving Nazis or Hitler approaches one. In any debate, Hitler's opinion on the subject is automatically the evil one, so it had better be contrary to the side you're arguing.

Go to the Microsoft DX9 page. You should find the DX9SDK with a tutorial for .Net and C# called ChatPeer. Best, Jerry

Intel (believe it or not) has a P2P toolkit for .NET... Lemme find it... <Comes back 15 minutes later> Hmmm...well what I was looking for didn't seem to be there. But I did find this: http://www.intel.com/cd/ids/developer/asmo-na/eng/technologies/peertopeer/dotnet/index.htm[^] Hope that helps :)
