Not usually at Christmas, there may be a few traffic jams but they tend to be people heading to the airports and not heading out of town. Christmas holidays are very staggered, so you probably won't hit as much traffic as you would if it was a normal weekday. Same here. I can't take any days off, but my brother is coming into town tonight for the weekend, so my Christmas will be extended to a week. :)

We re-located to the place that we spent the majority of our vacations at over the years so were sort of in a permanent state of vacation.

We're on the west coast of Canada and it's been *extremely* windy and rainy here lately with one storm after another. The hot tub is outside and we rigged a cover for it, it's even more decadent sitting in it when the wind is howling and the rain coming down in buckets all around and your perfectly warm and comfortable.
