Well, I'll be taking the 25th off. As I work for myself, I'll be spending the holiday season trying to resolve some business issues and seeing how best I can get some work for next year. Oh, I'll probably have the 31st off too and if all goes well, I'll be taking the 1st off too  Michael Snow is lying on the ground, and in the air the sleigh bells sound, The frosted patterned window panes, it's British summer time again. No, it's not, It's Christmas - Santa Claus in on the Dole (Spitting Image 1986)

Usually, it's $2.5 (it is a good hourly rate in Poland), but hopefully I'm gonna get a bonus this month. Doesn't Poland qualify for the EU working time directive? It does, but currently a big project that we have to complete in a very short time overrides it. You're so cute when you're frustrated. --from 'PDA' by Interpol

In keeping with squeezing blood from a stone we close at lunchtime on Christmas eve. My friends back in the "Slowveld" couldn't believe it when I told them - they are mostly on holiday already . Worse still, it sounds like Brendan will only get off at around 4pm on Christmas eve. I wonder what the roads up to Scotland will be like at that time :~ .

I kinda used up all my vacation... and then some... already. So i'm just taking Christmas off, and one day on either side of it.
Shog9 ---
You'd better turn back, before the frost sets in. These desert nights are for weathered men, The ones who've already given in...

Michael P Butler wrote: A lot better than the trains That's what we're hoping. Is there any madness on the roads in the UK around Christmas / Easter? At home the road deaths climb steeply at those times of year, but certainly nobody I work with here seems to have any concerns about travelling next week.
