Marc Clifton wrote: And people wonder why I don't take Java seriously. Java programmers are a rare bread. They’re dumb enough to believe platform independence is the best, despite the fact that they never code for any platforms besides Windows and even use libraries that are Windows-only. They all hate Microsoft, but use Windows even at home (I've known one that uses a Mac though, but he also has a PC with Windows). Anything Sun does is perfect - even if they do something stupid on their website. None of them loonies even know about how a computer works or anything about the OS they’re programming on. Java is like Linux; I can’t stand the user base more than the application itself. Yes, I’ve worked with them before. And, I think they should keep their handshake, so we can identify them and dispose of them once and for all. :) Jeremy Falcon
