Just noticed that the Enterprise edition (previous version was Pro) is now available on MSDN Subscriber downloads. This includes VSS 6.0c which they claim is required (though I had no problems with the old VSS before).

New VSS...! Finally it might be a decent product- I'm forced to use it at work, and its the bane of my existence  Hopefully the new ver WILL be required, then we will HAVE to upgrade :-D Presuming the new version actually IS better... hmmm, might be too hopeful...

It's the only time I've ever wished that I had a decent size data pipe. It took about 3 days to get the pro version: could only download during the night as it timed out during the day. Anyone know which version will be shipped as part of MSDN Uni. ? Bl**dy shipment highlights page is still stuck in June. ATL Student

It's not a new VSS, it's the same VSS with a few patches (that's why it's still called VSS 6.0 with the c tagged on.
