Hi jschell, Any updates to the config file itself will boot off the user using the site as on saving the file, IIS will try to reload that information, in effect ending all user sesisons. I think it would be a better idea to store this information in an application object which can later on be accessed. Let me know if I was wrong or misunderstood your point. Thanks and Regards,

Hi hasanali00 Did you try pinging the server when you got the error message in order to confirm that there were no connectivity issues? Also place code so that yuo can catch the exception where it is being thrown and output the error message. That way you will be more clear on the part of code is throwing the exception and what the error message is saying.

Hi All, Thats the information that I could find until now. Just put on a post so that in case anyone faced an issue on upgrading to IE7; you could get to know one of the reasons for the error and deply a fix in time. Do let me know if you have any new findings or resolutions for the same.

(Adding to my previous post...) This is because the Webbrowser control which is compatible with IE 6 uses shdocvw.dll. But, the Webbrowser control which is compatible with IE 7 uses ieframe.dll. A fix for this would be to initialize IHIE4 in the Initialize event in the main application.

Hi Friends Any application that uses the ActivexControl IHIE4 (which is wrapper for Webbrowser control) will hang when a user tries to navigate to the URL for the second time. But, in IE 6 no such issue exists.

Mike what you pointed out could be the reason. But this need not be the so in this case. MS KB Article ID: 892451 might have been what you were referring to. The dump also occurs in case of excessive memory usage.

Why dont you try using MySQL Administrator utility? Its a a free utility available on www.mysql.com. It can perform backups and restores from a graphical interface, and also schedule backups. "MySQL Administrator is a program for performing administrative operations, such as configuring, monitoring and starting and stopping a MySQL server, managing users and connections, performing backups, and a number of other administrative tasks."
