i was using this code to filter a crystal report

crystalReportViewer1.SelectionFormula = "{DateOfOperation} = '" + datetime1+ "' ";

but now i don't use crystal report , iam using now clasic report so how to filter data in this case

i want to filter report made by Crystal Reports and i made it by the wizard and here is an example so i want to pass the value of the field of Employee Name For example from a textbox or another contorle by the user then the report appears the records that the user want to display and many thanks for you http://ahmedkhallaf.brinkster.net/WindowsFormsApplication1.rar[^]

your project depend on mscomm32.ocx and may be you have been taken this project copy and paste so you must add this tool(mscomm32.ocx) again

thank you for your replay and you solved the problem and i remembered that if we want to know if February in a leap year or not by divided the year by 4 and if the result is an integer number it will be leap year such as 2004/4=501 this is a leap year and 2005/4=501.25 it's not a leap year and i'll to try it by code Many thanks for all

how can i find number of days in a given year and month

i made a chat program in c# and connect it to a local access database, can i put this database on a server on the internet so can people connect to it by the program , if i can what is the connection string? i used this connection string to connect to access database: @"Provider=Microsoft.Jet.OLEDB.4.0;Data Source=FileName"
