Nope. You'd have to build this yourself. It shouldn't be too hard. From your description, it could be done just by getting filenames from a search of a directory structure and comparing themn to the search key using a RegEx. Well, to process the Type instances in the other assembly, your current AppDomain would need to load the assembly anyway. There is a known issue with file locks when images are involved. Image.FromFile(fileSpec) keeps fileSpec open; a work-around consists of a small class that immediately copies the image to another image, and then disposes of the original. Maybe that's what you are experiencing... :) Luc Pattyn

You add a "dummy" child node for every node whose real children have yet to be loaded. When a node is expanded you check if it has a dummy node, and if it does, remove the dummy node and add the real child nodes. The dummy node might have Text of "*" or some value which is meaningless in the context of your application. I highly recommend Command and Conquer Tiberian Sun. My kids and I actually preferred it to the rest of the series and still take it for a spin every now and then. (Heck, get the Command & Conquer Collection from your local computer store.) On my main system, I still have Star Wars Galactic Battlegrounds and Warcraft III installed and still play the former occasionally. Don't know if they run on a "bottom end" laptop though. Thanks Colin, seems obvious now. I was actually wanting the custom constructor of class B to call a different base class constructor than B's default constructor. Which is just been plain silly... :)
