Well, casting a DOSDATE to a WORD won't do you any good, since a DOSDATE is not a WORD, nor is it packed into a WORD as described in the docs for DosDateTimeToFileTime(). Hi, Sorry! I should have probably posted earlier that my article has been published here. But let me also ask you this. How do I create an Outlook's New button style'd button? If you notice, clicking on the button performs an action while clicking on the downward arrow displays a menu. I cannot ever create a CommandBarControl without styles = 10(popup) or 2(button). It looks like there are two buttons wedged together, and that makes sense. One is a CommandBarButton while the other is a CommandBarPopup that are very close to each other. I can get a 'separator' with setting BeginGroup property and handling each objects click event would make it possible to do 2 different things. Interesting. I can see that the ATL7 CMimeMessage creates correct Outlook Express mail files. i.e. .eml format. Yes, I guess I would have to write a class myself. No, Mike, that did not solve it. I took another llok at the MFC rowlist sample, and it only works when I first enter the first item for all rows via InsertItem(), and then do SetItemText() for subitems. But no matter what I do, I can never make 'real' per row basis item insertion...ie an InsertItem() followed by SetItemText() for sub items before moving on to the next row.?? Did a project where I had to make an Outlook addin compliant with older 97/98, and the implementation is kind of interesting.
