Okay, I would like ideas from people that are smarter than I am about my next great USB plan. **THE PROBLEM...** I find that I keep on having these mysterious behaviors Which cost me over an hour to locate, and it always turns out to be that the USB hub has just plain and simply worn out physically. **MY NEXT SCHEME...** - Build my own computer - Install a specific USB Expansion Controller Card Adapter (The more ports, the better) - When I buy that card adapter, I will buy two or three (identical) replacements for the future when its jacks wear out - Use the same cheap hubs that wear out after a year or two, And plug them into a specific Jack on the controller card. Put this all together, and I'm wondering if this will provide me a workable solution until the time that USB goes away and is replaced with the next Disco Baboon Technology of the future

My Next USB Plan; Opinions Welcome -
Scientific Study, (N=1): USB Ports last 18 to 24 monthsWhat is the average lifespan that you have personally observed with ordinary, inexpensive USB hubs ? (I asked similar questions back [HERE](https://www.codeproject.com/Lounge.aspx?msg=5591659#xx5591659xx) in 2019) I'm Focusing my thoughts here on the seven port things with the little switches next to the physical ports where you can turn each one on and off. My last one was maybe 5 or 10 bucks, and I think I got maybe two years out of it. Am I a bad Shopper ? Or is that just what you have to expect with this level of a equipment ? I'm thinking: Two pieces of metal, (and it's thin metal) Sliding back and forth in physical contact with each other; repeat a few hundred times; and the things just wear out. I suppose it happens with car parts, so I guess it happens about the same with USB ports as well. Then again, I'm just making this up at the keyboard as I type, and I barely have any idea of what I'm talking about in the first place (which conforms to the generally accepted procedure of Internet Scientific Discourse). Just wondering what the smarter humans among me might have to offer in terms of brain support.

Need Vocabulary Lesson: Handwriting on PCWhat is the name of the device that allows you to put your own handwriting onto a graphics area of the screen of your own computer ? i.e., You take a stylus of some sort and press it against a screen like an Android tablet or something, and then there on your desktop computer screen, you see a reproduction of your own handwriting Now that I think of it, I could probably bet that somebody probably has already written an app that will do exactly that on an Android tablet and connect with a USB cable and put it on the desktop computer screen. But That's just me guessing. What I **don't** know is the name of the stuff, the nomenclature, who makes it, and the biggie: How to search for it and look for it on the internet or Google Play Store or whatever. I will give a 1973 Corvette Stingray to anyone who can tell me where to find this kind of stuff.

Ground Eggshell FlourThis Christmas, Give Me The Gift Of Your Knowledge Here is the latest on my mystery research From The WonderMill company, I got this one line...
This sounds like it would work
From The Vevor Company... I called and had a spoken voice conversation with a human. She passed along the details to their experts and I got this response that I totally cannot understand...The grinding efficiency of this product you are interested in: 500 grams of dry material is ground for one minute, the screening rate of 50 mesh through the screen is > 90%, and the fineness of ordinary flour is 80 mesh.
So I still don't know if the powder will be fine enough for regular cooking. Give me knowledge: Will the powder be fine enough ? -
Ground Eggshell FlourI contacted them via their website They responded via E-mail. They told me to go to www.willitgrind.com They said that I will see an example of egg shells and how they come out I looked at that site; couldn't find it. Oh well; this is the internet Happens

I'd look into a manual corn (coffee, nut, flour) grinder. Inexpensive ones are around $30US.
oOoops, I did not read for detail and just got a general idea into my head. I just purchased an inexpensive coffee grinder, But it wasn't manual; It is electric My stupid mind; stupid; stupid ! [PLAN NINE: "Your Stupid Minds! Stupid! Stupid!" - YouTube](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qro7oBzUBos)

Ground Eggshell FlourAt this moment, I think that perhaps the most sensible and most effective approach will be to try your idea for the inexpensive thing, And also try this more expensive thing at $140... [VEVOR 2500g Commercial Spice Grinder Electric Grain Mill Grinder High Speed | VEVOR US](https://www.vevor.com/electric-grain-grinder-mill-c\_10642/vevor-2500g-commercial-spice-grinder-electric-grain-mill-grinder-high-speed-p\_010122703234) They say on their Q&A page that it can be used for grinding eggshells; that question was specifically asked and they specifically answered it

I just spent one minute on Google and found:
Uhm, yeah, Try any of the methods of which those people are suggesting; and then try to use that powder for baking real food that you're going to put into your mouth and chew. Been there, done that, and I'm looking for a spice grinder so that I don't repeat exactly what all those websites are trying to describe.

I'm thinking of getting a new keyboard...Sure, it looks like a great price, but then you have to throw in shipping and handling and it turns into a rip-off.

Preferred Pedagogical Paradigmatic ProtocolIf your goal is to get the following three concepts into the minds of a large group of people... 1. Binary Arithmetic 2. Boolean Algebra 3. Hexadecimal Arithmetic ...In what order would you present the concepts ? (That list is in alphabetical order to prevent any implied bias) Why do you feel that your chosen sequence makes more sense than others ?

Ground Eggshell FlourI am trying to get eggshells ground down to a flour which is fine enough in its powdered form to allow for regular cooking; particularly on a griddle top when mixed with milk and eggs and stuff The home blender is just not good enough for this purpose; I have already ruined my second one and I'm not going to destroy any others. I just spent four hours on thirty zillion websites, and apparently my best bet is something called a spice mill grinder. There is an ocean of those things out there on the market. Interestingly enough, I never knew they existed. Clueless nubee here: What am I looking for ? What do I need to be looking out for, i.e., in terms of stuff to avoid ?

TucowsI was looking for a specific piece of freeware. A search engine suggested Tucows In the past I have always had very good luck with Tucows. Today I look and I see wow; major game change over there. Out with the old; In with the new. Oh well, found a real winner on SnapFiles, so, all is well. In fact, looks like they are doing better than before. Hooray for capitalism and innovative thinking.
