I'm under the belief that due to budget restraint, they wouldn't make separate os from the tablet version. that or out right laziness and hope that we would conform instead of throwing us into the hands of their competitor. In that same breath, ios7 is also another example of "laziness", though I have to admit it's nice that my apple product (ipad2) looks and feels like my z10 blackberry phone :cool: :~

Nope, diffently not the only one to hear that. I've heard that (a version of it)a few times in my dev experiences. I also heard a version of it back in the day when I was on helpdesk for an american ISP "Do you have a modem in an off white?it clashes with my home décor ( kid you not. ACTUAL call). Clients / users are amusing.

my team supervisor did the same with a group picnic. 2 inch ( or more ) thick steaks, tater salad, garlic bread, Pumpkin pie. worst part was the meeting after lunch ( we had issues staying awake).

valid question, I personally am a Generalist (not by choice, it chose me and I stuck with it due to needing work and a roof over my head.). On the pro side, I can fit into most situations, with a grasp of the different fields. on the con side; well, Some want that Specialist. As for finding work, the money and jobs are there,for the experience and knowledge, I am always practising and reading up. Heck, I still keep up on my other career option; Chef work. For example, I'm making Duck l'orange this weekend. [append] I haven't had an issue with "good" / "high" pay ether. ;)
