We upgraded one of our computers to Firefox 5, and addons such as "New tab homepage" and Google toolbar weren't compatible. Had to roll back until the addons are updated.

He deserves the knighthood just for collaborating with Ian Stewart and Jack Cohen on "The Science of Discworld" trilogy. These books are the best description of why humans need to colonize space soon (i.e. in the next hundred years before we really run out of cheap energy) I have ever read, and the more people who get the idea and start to contribute to space colonization projects, the more likely we will be to succeed in the short time we have available. Thank you Sir Terence.

Every one of Terry Pratchett's "Discworld" novels, including the "Science of Discworld" trilogy with Ian Stewart and Jack Cohen. They remind me that each time I break down my programs into more manageable chunks, those chunks gain a small life of their own, and if they're worshiped enough can even become SMALL GODS. That can, of course, lead to mischief and much head scratching though, so a good dose of wizardry, plenty of coffee, and a sense of humour the size of a planet are occasionally required else deadlines get missed and D E A T H comes on a large horse called Binky...
