who invented the idea of using missles to cleanup Al-Qaeda "training camps" in Afganistan? According to CNN, these camps consists of dozens of mojos doing push ups, climbing ropes and shooting rocks with cheap AK-47s.How much would it cost to build a camp with a few ropes? Do you think missles are a little too expensive for these non-assets? Time to send in the PowerPuff girls. :suss:

This model neither proves nor disproves reincarnation. To do that, you need to show how the constant isn't a constant. :suss:

    1. num_live = number of living 1.1 num_human_alive = global population 1.2 num_animal = global animal population, excluding human, elf, dwarfs and all those mystical beings walking on two legs. 2. num_dead = number of dead 3. Reincarnation is no more than an Algebraic phenomenon! constant = num_threads_active = num_live + num_dead = (num_human_alive + num_animal) + num_dead; With human population expanding, either the "num_dead" or "num_animal" must decrease to keep total num_threads_active to a constant number.

Maybe there is. Exorcism. Prophecy in Bible. Rebuilding of Isreal. Christianity believes that God "existed", and God "exists". And, why not.

    1. I've created a a view based on table "Orders". 2. I've been assigned role="dlladmin", let's say my login="Tom" 3. I granted jane (public) access privilege by: grant select on vwOrders to jane 4. server admin "sa" transfered the view to dbo sp_changeobjectowner 'Tom.vwOrders', 'dbo' 5. I checked Jane's access privilege to vwOrders by: 5a. From Jane's account: select * from vwOrders result: NO problem, jane can access the view. OKAY. 5b. Enterprise Manager: Choose the table, select properties>Permission result: Jane was not assigned SELECT permission?? MY QUESTION: WHY? Is it a bug in Enterprise Manager? That privileges assigned before the view was transfered is not reflected in choose table>Properties>Permission? Thanks in advance.

Faith doesn't explain anything. Faith is the last place to look when you want objective truth, or, to avoid it.

The Case For Christ, Lee Strobel ISBN 0-310-20930-7 Zondervan Publishing House It's not complete. But it's a good start, if you're looking for answers beyond "Just believe in it"

Here's a book that examines circumstantial evidence: "The Case For Christ" by Lee Strobel I find a book like this a lot more convincing than "you/science can't prove God doesn't exist" - because you can't prove "God exists" neither. Same goes for looking at the sky or looking in the mirrow. Also, Bible seems like an evidence of God's own crime than a testimony for his Love for his people - again, what's the big fuss over an apple. I'm not going to comment on argument like "coz Adam/Eve were told not to.." It appears He has problem managing his anger and he's perfectly comfortable of creating atrocities: Crucifix (Please. Don't tell me men did it. According to Bible, God put Him there when He could have just scarificed a few sheeps or banana *why not* - He's a terriorist).

Thanks for the URL's. I will take a look at them. I'd be interested if anyone has more relevant information on any historical/circumstantial evidence to Christianity. But still, no one has answered question like "Why'd God condemn Adam/Eve for eating the wrong apple?". Is there a better answer than "Because He told them not to eat"? This makes him looks like more a rutheless dictator - for Pete's sake, He crucify his own son so pacify his OWN anger. Don't you think He should chill out and take it easy? Perhaps a little anger management?

Everyone seems to be arguing over "absolute proof". I'm asking, "Do we have any proof at all? Besides feelings and REM dreams? I just want to say again I'm not trying to dis-prove God.

peterchen wrote: Does a tree stop growing just because you can't prove it's existence? I asked my question hoping to find more proofs to God because I dont see any alternatives to reunite with your loved ones. Disappointingly, all I can find in last twenty years of Church is "feelings" for which they call testimony. But, there must be "real" testimony to Christianty. Not just "faith". Not just "circumstantial" evidence by examination of the Bible. If God exists and if He's relevant to anything, he must "act" and "react" to certain things. Exorcism for instance. I think Christian are asking too few questions, and they're trying to do the explaining for God - if one can't explain certain things, God should, if He cares, if He's relevant.

  • Here's a religious question...
    C CillyMe

Since it's christmas... 1. Why did God condemn Adam/Eve and mankind... to death and eternal suffering because someone ate the wrong apple in the Garden of Eden? 2. Why didn't God just forgive people? Perhaps scrafice a few sheeps as opposed to crucify Jesus? Crucifying a person is a pretty sad thing to do - even if you have the reasons to, you don't do this sort of thing. 3. Why did God condemn Moses, deny him of entrance to the Promised Land, for getting pissed off once (stiking the rock, Numbers 20:12)? 4. Why did God pick Isreal over the rest of us? What makes slaughtering of our Egyptian any more legimate than slaughtering of Israelites? Is God a racist?

Yes, I'm taking the exams now. Find it pretty useful in filling the loopholes. The most annoying part is when you bought the wrong prep package that gives wrong answers or lame explanations - lame vendors. MeasuXXXXX for instance. They offer online tutoriung along with prep packages. But you can only ask questions regarding specific question on their prep. Depending on the person you talk to, if you ask anything slightly deviate from the question itself, they'll tell you it's outside their jurisdiction. There're some good tutors who'd take you all the way through. But for the most part, their online help does not better than forum like this.
