I have always respected opinions and such here. I have been a member for many years even. I have always thought highly of most everyone here. With that being said, I am very frustrated with the approval system for an article to syick around. I have seen stuff that is even less explained than my own recent attempt be approved. Apparently i havent explained well enough about a library I recently wrote and am continuing to work on. I know people wont care either way, but I will most likely be leaving the website altogether. I do believe that my listing was explained well enough to be able to stay. Do I sound like a petulant child, probably, but I dont care. I am 39 uears old and am allowed to feel and act how I want.

Here is the thing. The app isn't mine. The developers of said app are located in Korea. I am unsure as to their laws pertaining copyright stuff. There were some users that de-compiled their app, thus removing the ads. There were only 3 developers for the app and this was the source of their income. They have had to cut back on updates due to lack of funds, so are having to take on other projects. A group of us have tried defending the developers, but it hasn't been doing much good as the Developers aren't exactly in contact with us.

There is a way to remove the ads. Lets say that to remove ads, it is a $.99 per month subscription. You do this, so you can get up enough revenue to be able to possibly hire other developers for quicker updates.

Let us say that you wrote an app, that happens to contain ads, for Android or some other OS. Also, you are the sole developer and tend to take a little longer that you thought you would for updates or adding new features. Some of the users get impatient on waiting for you to update, and decompiles your app to make their own changes to it, thus removing said ads and possibly breaking the app in unknown ways. They also decide to share their version with others. What would you do? Would you slap a lawsuit on them or just let them do it? Keep in mind, this is not an Open Source app.

Hello, I like to write code sometimes as a hobby. I happen to work in retail, and coded an app for use at work. I have shown this app to my management, and a screenshot of the app ended up going to even higher management. If my manager was being serious, they are talking about paying me for use of my app. I live in the usa. Is there any special information on anything regarding this? I am used to just posting my stuff as open source and free. Never thought that I would ever be asked this question. Wouldn't even know what to charge or even how to charge. One-Time fee, Yearly Commercial license, per download fee, etc. Your thots?

Ok, thanks. It's not too big of a concern. Was just curious as to why I couldn't get them to align properly. It may be that Firefox doesn't play too well with the site or something. A while back, when I was trying different arrangements for the screenshots, I was having the same issues, but somehow I managed to get them to align properly.

ListView Watermark in VB.NET[^] here is the link to my article, although i removed the icons and text i had wanted before submitting the article because i was getting frustrated with it. what i was wanting to do was to have a green arrow beside the download link instead of the standard orange one. the icon i wanted to use is still uploaded along with my article though. is this even allowed or do i have to stay with the standar one?

While I was editing my tip, I had added an icon with text to the right in a table. I wanted these to align along the middles, so I put the icon in 1 column and the text in another column. In the editor, everything looks fine, but when I click the preview button at the bottom, nothing is aligned. I have edited and re-edited the source html in every way that I could find, but couldn't get it to work. I ended up taking the icons/text out of the tip until I could find more info. My question is: Why would this do this, and is there a way to make this work?

While i was editing an article of mine, I noticed something peculiar. While i was typing, I wanted to change the text formatting. However, when I highlighted the text I wanted to format, and clicked the Bold Toggle button, nothing happened. The Italics button didn't do anything either.

When I view my article list(hover over my username, then select my articles), i noticed a misspelling. The word license is spelled wrong. You have it spelled licence when it should be spelled license. A bit derpy for me to notice, but it just caught my eye.
