First program in 1964 on a Univac Digital Trainer in binary - no assembler or other gewgaws. Many commercial computers later, I built a Heathkit H8 in 1977 and used it to compute golf handicaps and other simple tasks. Now, I play with Raspberry Pi, WeMos D1 Mini, etc. I also placed in the age category.

First experience of programming -
What is your favourite film (that didn't make much money)?I've always liked "Being There". A comedy illustrating people's willingness to believe what they want.

Most significant technical innovation in your lifetimeMy first "computer" was a huge block of electro-mechanical relays and the next was a large chassis full of thyratrons. The first program I wrote was on a 256 byte Univac digital trainer circa 1964. My vote for the most important technological innovation in my lifetime is the transistor without which there could be no integrated circuit or any of the more recent innovations.

"Special characters not allowed" - and we eat only raw meatI used to have an Amiga 1000 which allowed filenames to have special characters and even non-printable characters. It worked great. That computer was way ahead of its competitors.

FirefoxI like and use Firefox, but I do not like the change form bookmarks to library and the extra step[ necessary to get to a full listing. I also use Chrome and Opera for various projects.

BrainBlocked? Starting & Finishing projectsAs a software engineer/programmer/designer in a large company working on large projects, I found that sometime I just had to do a project that could be finished to renew my focus on the larger job.
