Demonstrating SoftwareI've sat through hundreds and hundreds of remote software demos, and almost everyone uses GotoMeeting.com for this. There are some others, and a current popular one is zoom.com, but by and large GotoMeeting is the, well, goto standard. I don't remember it being particularly expensive or difficult, and you can switch back and forth between showing a presentation (powerpoint), a view of the software being shown, and your own webcam if you choose. Most don't use a webcam though, it's mostly switching back and forth between the software and a presentation. It takes some practice to do well so I'd definitely encourage you to rehearse before putting yourself in front of a prospective customer. I'd also encourage you to keep the 'canned' or scripted part of the demo short and let the customer as questions so you can keep the demo lively and interesting. David

why i can't download code anymore!Hello Heianxing! Thanks for using The Code Project. Looks like you have some questions, so I'll answer them inline: >>I don't want to use workspace,i only need to download code! You don't have to use ::Workspaces if you don't want, but there's a lot of cool stuff in there you get for free so you might want to have a look. >>why i can't download code anymore!!! I guess you got confused. Your download was *exactly* the same as it's always been, the only difference is that we showed you a different download page that indicated that along with your download, we created a ::Workspace for you with a copy of your download. If you ever need that download again, it's stored for you.

Heartbleed hacker arrested, charged in connection to malicious bug exploitLooks like someone who was just fooling around to see if the bug was real, I bet a lot of people did the same without realizing they were truly doing something illegal simply in the interests of seeing if it worked. I hope he learns a lesson without it ruining his life.

Quality of Code Project diminishingHey Gus, If you see something that's broken please do let us know about it. Each of us, Chris, Sean, Matthew, Kamil and I, and the whole team, really want to know as soon as possible. I remember a few years ago talking to Chris about 3rd party monitoring services to watch the site and he smiled and said that he would be surprised if an alert came in before he got an email from a member. (fyi we actually have 3 external services and at least 2 internal ones). So please, best is bugs & suggestions which you can see we're very active in: http://www.codeproject.com/suggestions.aspx[^] or if you think the site is *really* broken, an email to webmaster@codeproject.com will do the trick. I do have to say that I'm exceedingly unhappy you feel the quality of the site is going down. We have been working like bandits on new and better features, adding full Git support to articles and allowing them to become full projects along with an amazing developer focused collaborative task management system, and most recently a documentation wiki system for projects. https://workspaces.codeproject.com[^] As for advertising, well that's a tricky balance. I can tell you that minimalist is our general approach, but to be useful the ads have to be effective too, and we try incredibly hard to make them relevant and on-topic as well. Anyway, please do let us know when something is broken, and please understand there are no nefarious intentions. We want to offer an excellent and valuable site to you. Let us know how we can do that better. David

Captain America: The Winter SoldierAmazing to me that IMDB rates it 6.9/10. Seems unfair. I really liked this movie as well.
