VMWare - Virtual PC is an option but as it doesn't emulate the processor it would probably have the same problem. Thanks but it is my full development environment so probably a bit much for WINE :laugh:

I'd hoped so too but it noticed the Intel to AMD switch :-D It should be back to the original PC within 3 days so may not need activation. Yeah RDP is a possibility but I am aiming not to rely on the network. Thanks,

Hi Folks, Trying to get a Windows VM together that will be used on multiple machines. I want to store it on an mobile HD and plug it into various Host systems. How can I do this without requiring reactivation every time (connectivity could be limited)? Is there a edition/version of XP designed for this? Thanks Davy

I do sometimes. Live.com has a nice feature giving you an RSS feed of the search. Google doesn't. It's an odd day when it is easier to get an RSS feed out of Microsoft than Google. Davy
