I am having trouble understanding what your table fields mean. I am assuming that Week_14 is the number of times a song was played in Week_14? In that case, you will want to use MAX(Week_14) with GROUP BY Country to get what the greatest Week_14 is for each Country (it will give you one row per country). I would need to know more about the table structure to give you more specific help than that.

What you're trying to do can't be done by inlining the included content with include() or require(). The content that you wish to include will require an additional request to the server for the new content and this will need to be rendered to be browser either using AJAX or an iframe. AJAX would be generally accepted to be the best practice in this case. This is somewhat advanced stuff, but the jQuery library would make this relatively easy. You would assign a function to the onclick event of the link that would "get" the content from the content URL. The better way is to use urlencode. Thats the best way to get rid of spaces.

I had an old boss who swore by this route, in favour of my NOT IN solution above. He said it was much more efficient. He was right, and I forgot about that whole conversation till I saw your answer.

Try a sub query (top 5) that is grouped by title and ordered by number of plays. Let me think about this and hopefully get back to you soon. djj
