On personal projects: #1. On customers: I recommend #6 and above although some don't like to spend money on this silly things.

My options: - CSS: #3 and #6(eventually) - javascript: #2 - html: #1 And one file by language.

It's hard to be far from a computer. I like programming and I'm able to do this in a relaxing manner: just working on my projects. But I like to read, watch a movie or ride my bike too.

This is philosophical question. :D But this is what science is: we explain reallity by models. So more knowledge comes to light and we start to need other models, to replace the older ones. It is a good start to assume the 2 items you listed before. But they are valid only in this model. Well, this is what I think. ;)
