To Sue or Not to Sue that is the questionGood deal. Michigan doesn't allow them. (Unless that's changed in recent times.)

To Sue or Not to Sue that is the questionThe BBB is useless, in my opinion. Depending on your state laws, you probably won't be able to sue them in small claims. Most states don't allow lawyers in small claims cases. You sue a company, they're going to send a lawyer. The case gets bumped up automatically. That means you'll need a lawyer, and no lawyer is going to touch a $120 case. (Unless you want to pay hourly, and then it will cost more than $120 just to get them to fill out the paperwork.) The game really is rigged against the small guy. I do think it would be useful to ask to see a copy of the signed contract. They can't hold you to a contract unless you signed for it. If they report you to credit agencies for a debt you don't owe, you do have some options.

Need to Repair afxwin.hIt's seems identical to AfxWin.h from Visual Studio 6. Thanks for the link, but it doesn't seem to be the right version for 2005.

Need to Repair afxwin.hThey aren't even on the same continent any more. I'm in the US, they're in India. Installs are now done via Remote Desktop. It's more efficient that way.

Need to Repair afxwin.hDammit! I screwed up the CWinApp class in my copy of "afxwin.h". (Because I did something dumb.) :sigh: I don't have install media, because company policy doesn't allow it. I can put in a call to get VS reinstalled, but that will take a long time. Does anybody have a suggestion on how I can restore that file? It's VS 2005.

I must admit that I open various bits in the same order so that they appear where I want them. If I accidently close one, I'll then close all the subsequent and re-open so the task bar is in the order I like.
I used to do this. I'm a bit OCD about it, I guess. Then I got Taskbar Shuffle: http://www.freewebs.com/nerdcave/taskbarshuffle.htm[^] It's freeware that lets you drag the taskbar buttons around and put them where you want them. It saves me a lot of time!

What are talking about?
He's from Spain, and whining that Spain's team lost to the US team in the gold medal game. US fans could whine about several flagrant fouls by Spain that were ignored by the officals late in the game. They won't bother because the US won. Whining about the officiating is always the loser's lament.

Like I said, I just like bringing it up because of the inconsistency of human compassion and the insistence that Darwinism is right.
:omg: Evolution and human compassion only seem inconsistent if you don't understand them. This is a "Straw Man" argument commonly used by Evolution Deniers. Next you'll be telling us that the Theory of Evolution is responsible for the Holocaust.

Police Continue to Solve BIG ProblemsReally, Police Crack Down On Saggy Pants: http://www.freep.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080709/NEWS06/807090390[^] People think Detroit is bad, but folks in Michigan know that Flint is real Hell hole. I used to live there. Years ago, a newly elected state official was foolish enough to visit Flint. He was abducted by street thugs. They beat his ass, robbed him, and left him in a ditch. Flint cops have more important things to worry about.

Seriously, you should take the time to talk to this person and come clean.
This is my dilemma. I think I should tell him. But, I have kids to feed and I am afraid of repercussions if it's found out I told him. :(( I have become the chickenshit I always used to hate.
