Oh but you can do a lot better. Much Much Much better... The thing is you miss dedication to training. You run about 8,5 kilometers an hour... That just means your out of shape. Try to run 3 times a week and make up a training schedule. Start eating right, and you will loose some fat also. Read about running, give yourselves 3 months of real dedication to running and eating habbits. You'll be amazed how much progress you will have made. Hint. Buy yourselves a heart rate monitor. Hi, Can anyone tell me how to change the exponent from the type double? Basicly what I want to do is to extract the exponent form: <--------------------all the bytes(8 total)-------------------> (SXXX XXXX) (XXXX MMMM) (MMMM MMMM) (MMMM MMMM) ... (MMMM MMMM) (where x represents the exponent) do some calculations and place it back in. I want to this with a large amount of numbers so I seek a pretty fast way to do it. Dear James, I do understand the trouble a faulty memmory stick can cause. I had the same thing a while ago and it took me ages to pinpoint the problem. Believe me, a faulty memmory chip was the last thing that crossed my mind. Then I came across this temporarly free program DocMemmory. You need a bootdisk where you put the low level testing software on. This will tell you if your memmory stick is broken. Watch out! It will only tell you wether the stick as a whole is broken. To know exactly what chip on the stick has gone bananas, you need a (expensive!) hardware tester.
