Here Is The Answer: Your problem lies in your machine.config file which will most likely be in the following directory: C:\WINNT\Microsoft.NET\Framework\v1.1.4322\CONFIG The problem is that .NET 1.1 ships with HttpPost and HttpGet turned off. look for the following tags: You will notice that HttpPost and HttpGet are commented out. When you databind your datagrid with a dataset, you are in fact setting up a "relationship" between the 2 objects. The easier way of all (in my opinion) is to set up ASSERT and TRACE in your code. Use the Debugview from www.sysinternal.com to trace your code but make sure your service is in debug mode. Or use some debugging tool like softice and etc.
