Hi: I think you need to use ODBC driver to connect to MySQL from ASP.NET. Either System.Data.Odbc (for 1.1 or higher) or Microsoft.Data.Odbc (for 1.0) I have seen some managed providers for MySQL database but I think they are not free. On top of all that, it still needs a DOS partition to boot and still relies on 16-bit code in it's kernel. Won't be fixed until NetWare 8 with a complete rewrite of the kernel, if the company survives that long... RageInTheMachine9532

It's worked for me in the past to simply override the Form.OnHandleCreated method (it's better to override in derived classes than handle events) for ActiveX controls using something like: public class MyForm : Form { // ... protected override void OnHandleCreated(EventArgs e) { base.OnHandleCreated(e); // // Put your initialization code here and add it to the Controls property } } The ActiveX control will most likely require a window handle (HWND) in which to be sited (parented). Calling base.OnHandleCreate first makes sure that everything is set up correctly. This handler is called by CreateHandle after creating the handle. It's possible that the DSOFramer requires something different, though. You should check the Microsoft KB[^] or any existing product site for that control for specifics. You can set the TabControl.DrawMode to TabDrawMode.OwnerDrawFixed and 1) handle the TabControl.DrawItem event if handling the painting from another control, or 2) override the TabControl.OnDrawItem if extending the TabControl with your own class (faster than handling the event inside a derivitive class). As far as text in your console app go, you can use the Console.In properties (a TextReader) to grab typeable characters like "h".
