I would do a small JavaScript function to handle this... I would initially load the first 2-3 pics and then for each one that I show I would start donwloading another one in order for the slide show to be fast... Try using the setTimeout, setInterval functions in JavaScript... This will help you handle the timing... Try using an aray or an object to store the Images that you download... keep a numbered naming on your images so you will know which one is to be downloaded next... That reminds me of when I was back at Uni, we had a small CS computer lab that had a swipe-card operated magnetic lock on the door. One day the lock mechanism just stopped working (the card swipe on the outside, and the release button on the inside both had no effect) so I emailed our department tech admin guy that we were stuck in, and would appreciate to be let out at some point. By the time they eventually got there, they discovered I'd already dismantled the lock mechanism using the screwdriver on my swiss army knife. and had the door propped open with a chair. Since sink interfaces are dispinterfaces, you will have to implement IDispatch on your object. This also implies you'll have to implement IUnknown, since IDispatch is derived from it. Your version of the Invoke method will basically switch on the dispid of the event, unpack the event parameters from the DISPPARMS struct, and delegate to whatever method you want to be invoked when the event is fired. You will also need code for advising and unadvising the connection point. So for IUknown, you need an implementation of QueryInterface, AddRef and Release. For your implementation of IDispatch for the event interface, you can proably take some shortcuts and just implement Invoke, and return E_NOTIMPL from the remaining methods, since the Connection Point would only make use of this method to fire events. Make sure your object is publicly derived from IDispatch. Your implementation for QueryInterface can then just use a static cast of the this pointer to implement QueryInterface. Look at the ATL code that does this for normal objects for an example. Good Luck!

I got something called IExpress with Win 2K Pro - it was hiding in the system32 directory. MS uses this for almost everything they distribute. This tool also has the capability to save your settings in a SED (for self-extracting directive) file, so rebuilding the package is easy. Just go to Run and type iexpress to run it.
