So for us British, European, maybe even US folks at least, we have something called the Data Protection Act, which ultimately means we "should" be careful with other peoples data and not retain it longer than we need. The thing is, as a software developer, do we know who is responsible for the data contained within the database driven apps we release? I would say it's whoever owns the app? What about building apps in-house? The Chief Exec?

We have that but want to produce something more professional for the stakeholders. I don't think a whiteboard photo will cut it!

Our two-man team is trialling InteGREAT. It has complete end-to-end management, but the key features that we like are the ability to auto-generate key documents such as the requirements spec and data dictionary, and that it syncs the backlog with visual studio online. Does anyone know of any credible competitors that have these key features? Many thanks Ian
