Making a Setup.exe installer for my project..hey man, thanz for your reply.. okie, I manage to make a very simple exe for my program.. but I got a few more things to ask and I hope you will take the time to see whether you can help me out.. but trying to run the setup on another system, it needs to download framework 2.0 from the net, it says invalid folder and stuff.. Is there a PDF ebook or something that teaches this particular part of trying to create a good setup.exe? if so, maybe you can gimme the name so I can look it up or something.. thanz for your time..

Can anyone be free and kind enough to give me the basics on this..?

is it possible....Been through that book, it doesn't go through SQL database programming. Select and Insert Command.. We are getting somewhere eventually.. Beasically, I am not asking anyone to write the whole code down for me. as Mentioned on the starting thread, I gave a small example of what I am trying to do and hopefully, someone out there who is helpful enough and have some spare time in his hands can help out.. This is what this thread is for, after all.. So anyone else with some knowledge on this and is willing to help... Will appreciate your time...

is it possible....Hi guys.. ok, here is my situation. I am doing SQL database programming ith VS 2003. I did a sql database called 'test.adp'. In this DB there is two tables.. ONe is 'Customer', the other is 'Temp'. In both this tables is the field 'Name'. Okay, let's say the field 'Name' under the table 'Customer' have only one data in text form called 'David' . In the 'Temp' table, there is no data in it. Is it possible for me to create a button and put a command in it where it will open up the 'customer' table, extract that 'David' data and insert it into the 'Temp' table under the 'Name' Field? Can anyone give me a brief command example that can accomplish this? Thanz for your time..

Form Loading..Ok, my situation is like this. I have two forms in my application (Form1 and Form2), and on each form, I have one button (button1). I put the following code in button1 for Form1. "Dim frm2 as new Form2" "frm2.show()" and in Button1 of Form2 "Dim frm1 as new Form1" "frm1.show()" I noticed that if I clicked on these buttons a couple of times, multiple Form1 and Form2 gets created. Anyway to avoid this, like maybe when I click Form1 Button1, it closes the Form1 and opens Form2 and vice versa..?
