Microsoft causing lost productivity. A rant.- IE spends an inordinate amount of time with the little "Connecting" icon when you open a tab. Connecting to what? The blank page? Don't hurt yourself there. Try set the home page as "about:1" or just "about:" this save sometimes ^.^ (may be just 0.1-0.5 second)
