Nah, Kyle and Cartman in that case. But yeah, Stewie would pwn Cartman in a verbal duel, bigtime. :)

Odd BBC News siteNever been a fan of spoof news, in any form. The humor wanes quickly. I'd better watch the "authentic" news to get sustained amusement. :) But in all seriousness, spoof news ceases to be funny after a few seconds. Its just too long.

Suggestions please...Could make a mockumentry on how the journey is very boring. However that could contradict itself coz making a mockumentry would make the journey interesting. But its mockumentry, so...

Required traits of an awesome teacherThe obvious thing is to be able to capture their interest. The scores of Cliché movies and Robin Williamseque mannerism might help in you that regard. :P However, what I find important is to allow the students to express themselves. I mean, lateral thinking as it is called. They may digress. Allow it. It is you who are responsible to lead the conversation back to where it must head. Also, being able to answer most of the questions, even those that sound stupid, is a major plus. Bur again, you shouldn't be too slack either. I have never taught per se but have been in that kind of a position to put in my two cents. :)

The UK House of CommonsThanks. The last line looks quite funny but I guess that is what is the origin of the phrase "party issues a whip...".

The UK House of CommonsInteresting. I hope that wasn't some subtle humor coz if it were, it went right over my head.

The UK House of CommonsMPs will be MPs, anywhere. I was actually more interested in whether the accommodation was not well planned. Nagy Vilmos' reply suggests so.

The UK House of Commonslol. Let me rephrase it, I happen to catch a glimpse of it while changing channels. :)

The UK House of CommonsThe Indian House of Commons (Lok Sabha) is in session again and I have been watching intermittently. I watch UK House of Commons in session on BBC news. I had also watched the Murdoch interrogation just recently. I wonder why is the UK's house so very congested. All the MPs seem to be sitting thigh to thigh and shoulder to shoulder. It looks very awkward and uncomfortable. They seem to be crammed. Of course, when its not as roomy as India's, MP's cannot sling punches and chairs. But jokes apart, seriously, why? Why is it like that?

Why do sites force us to register to read posts on them?Yup, I have created more fake emails than I can think of solely for such purposes but have forgotten the login id and passwords (hence that many)! I hope yahoo and gmail would deactivate such accounts after some time of inactivity.

Why do sites force us to register to read posts on them? But no one in their right mind would give their real contact, right? They(sites) won't care then? I understand if that's done on lowly sites but sites of repute doing that is bad. Bad.

Why do sites force us to register to read posts on them?I wanted to read what seemed an interesting post [^] that I got via a friend on NewScientist about Homo Sapiens interbreeding with other species. On following that link I was given a registering page. It was surprising because normally posts could be read without doing that. I don't understand the reasoning behind forcing registration, especially free registration, especially for certain posts. Could some one enlighten me on that please?
