This is usually how I approach projects. Customers do like a fixed price. However, they also understand that the project can go over due to unforeseen issues. So in those cases, most customers don't have a problem adjusting the original quote. I don't really like hourly because lawyers bill hourly and nobody like lawyers.

New Layout is AwesomeI'm still seeing the overlapping image in FF, IE, and Chrome. It's blocking the Bookmark button for me on some articles.

Coding file paths to a server or network shareI also vote NO. However, there is the case where you MOVE all of the shared data to another machine. If you used mapped drives, then all the user needs to do is remap. But I always lean towards using UNC.

Do you use ribbons in the applications you develop? The only implementation of ribbons that I liked was in SolidWorks. They also kept the menus. But you can completely change the ribbons and what buttons are on what ribbons. I don't think it would be that hard to implement either. I know that adding your own ribbon and buttons through the SolidWorks API is 1000 times easier than adding buttons to Excel through the its API.

Your First Computer...The first computer I remeber using was an Apple2. The first computer I bought was an HP in 1995. It came with windows 95 on it. I didn't really use it until someone bought me Star Craft a few years later. Then I used it all the time. No I don't even get to play games anymore. It's all work, work, work.
