Whenever I do java programming, I do it in Netbeans, and they have something similar. Whenever you work on a file that is in your CVS sandbox, it shows your changes and lines modified compared to the version in the repository. I don't know if VS has something like that (never used version control in VS) , but it should.

MP3 Player RecommendationsThe Creative Zen V Plus is pretty nice. Intuitive menu, 20 hr battery time, good sound quality, and a $87 price tag are what did it for me. I would seriously check it out. I'm listening to mine right now :)

Microsoft on MultithreadingUmm, if you use a trackhoe to dig a hole, rather than a shovel, aren't you still a construction worker? They are both means to an end; the only difference being that is significantly easier and faster than the other.

How to speed up my XP notebookThere are programs to clean up the registry and defrag it. Check download.com. It made quite a difference for me. Also, check out tweakXP. Something else to do would be to change the performance and visual settings.

PS3 or Wii ?The Wii _is_ a blast to play. Until the Wii came out, console companies just concentrated on making a more powerful system. Its about time that someone designed a system that changed the way you _play_ the games and not just how they look.

Die COBOL... Die!!However, the only reason those things still run in COBOL is because its not cost effective for companies to spend the money to re-engineer them (that includes hardware and software costs) in another more modern language. Until then, it looks like we're stuck with it :)
