    The Lounge sales question

  • Sales department of CodeJock is not working?
    K Kirk Stowell

Hi Christian, There is definitely a problem with Olga's mail server, we are reviewing the logs currently and will post what we have discovered. It appears that Olga's email server refused the past several attempts that we have made to send email. As far as the message boards go, they are brand new and have only been up for a couple of weeks, that is why there are limited responses there. If you sign up for the board, you need to reply to the automated email before you can post a message in order to complete the sign up process. In this case catch 22 because the mail server is refusing messages sent to it, olga could never finish the sign up process, and never complete a post. BTW - Send me an email, havent talked with you since you last worked for us ;)would like to catch up. Cheers, Kirk Stowell Codejock Software - Power Tools for MFC! http://www.codejock.com

    The Lounge sales question

  • Codejock anyone?
    K Kirk Stowell

Hi Edward, We make every effort to address our existing (and potential customers) support issues or concerns promptly (usually within 12-24 hours). Most of our customers are quite satisfied with the level of support that we provide them which usually includes sample projects or code to help them in their development. As far as our site goes it is undergoing some major rework, the boards will be down until the maintenance has been completed, hopefully it should not be too much longer. If you have any questions or concerns please feel free to contact me directly at anytime and I will make every effort to help in anyway possible. The Lounge question

  • Is this fair?
    K Kirk Stowell

Hi Mustafa, No harm, no foul! ;) BTW - I went ahead and removed the screen shots that exposed all of the cosmetic flaws with Dundas and Stingray products (ahem -- wouldn't want to offend anyone  ). Also, I notice that you mention you cannot wait for the pro ver, if you like what you see in that you will love our up comming 2.0 release! Everything the pro version has x2! And without the $300 price hike... :-D Warm regards! Kirk Stowell Codejock Software http://www.codejock.com

  • Is this fair?

Actually, to put my 2 cents in defense of the comparison page, the reason this was added was because of a request from one of our potential customers to see the cosmetic differences between the Xtreme Toolkit, Dundas and Stingray. Nothing more or less was intended here, if it offends to this extent, then perhaps we can remove it, however I didn't see how it would offend anyone (other than Stingray and Dundas) :-D The only reason BCG was not added in comparison was because their controls are drawn similar in nature to Dundas and Stingray, and is not as visually accurate in comparison to the original Office products. To address the concerns mentioned earlier: 1. Our support, product and customer relations, they have greatly improved over the past year. 2. We do offer discounts for shareware and academic use (up to %40). We have always extended these kind of discounts on each purchase, Considering the price of the product ($199-$299) I think this an excellent product for a fraction of the cost. You don't have to take my word for it; you can download the Dundas, Stingray, BCG and Xtreme Toolkit evaluations and do your own comparisons, when you have decided what you like best than use it. :-D Cheers, Kirk Stowell Codejock Software http://www.codejock.com
