Liked the look and feel of the New Office 2013. You can see the glimpse of the Office 2013 Word at http://kishore1021.wordpress.com/2012/07/19/quick-glimpse-of-ms-office-2013/[^]

I am just testing the waters using Windows 8 and Visual Studio 2012 along with Team Foundation Server 2012. So far the technology looks promising It's been a long time since we have seen innovation at such a large scale from Microsoft. I like the WinRT concept that you can have one common business and entity code base for all your desktop, tablet and mobile applications. I very much understand and appreciate Microsoft’s end goal - one operating system and one experience on all your devices: your phone, your Xbox, your desktop, your laptop, your tablet, your hybrid computing device you don’t yet know how it looks like. If they succeed with this vision, they will change how we use computers and devices forever. Finally, Windows 8 is, in my humble opinion, the most innovative version of Windows Microsoft has released since Windows 95. Regards, Kishore http://kishore1021.wordpress.com/[^]

Windows 8 Pro version will be able to run legacy Windows applications, ie. every Windows app released to date, including desktop, Metro apps, and anything else. So this should clear any doubt about running VS on surface. You can connect Surface to the monitor and you are all set to develop software using surface even at office. - Kishore http://kishore1021.wordpress.com/[^]

Hi, Now that Windows 8 with VS 2011 is released for developers to try on, should code project have a place holder for Windows 8 articles? I posted articles for Widows 8 and some how they are misplaced under different category. The articles are 1. Part 1: My Experiments With Windows 8 – Getting started guide[^] 2. Part 2: Getting started with using new Windows 8 features[^] If possible, can you please move them to the respective sections? Thanks, Kishore Babu

Yes, Pocket PC supports multi language implementation but i doubt if Chinese is included in the list of supported languages. Well, incase if Chinese is not supported, then i guess, you can try some of the free libraries that give Internationalization support for Chinese language. Thanks, Kishore
