    Thanks pal, we film it in Cebu last july.. we are only using 1 mini DV cam with no lights and filmmaking stuff; we call it Guerilla Film Making... it's all about tricks.... parallel to programming :rolleyes: Really? Thailand is more or less similar to Philippines, weather and lots of stuff. Thailand is a great country, one thing; they have language barrier.... maybe because of the position of thier tongue when speaking thier native language.... They've got a great movie too... Thai movies are best in thier stunts.....

    Relating Math, Music and Programming.... in my case, not long ago, I've indulged in Mathematics coz I don't have a choice, I am an engineering student that time.... our first programming lesson is about math... i hate the header "math.h"....(that was long time ago)... I think the analysis skill is the link between Mathematics and Programming.... in my opinion; Extreme Programming (producing the simplest running program) and Reverse Engineering is synonymous.... In such case as music.... check out this link.... maybe programming is immediately proportional to performance level.... :rolleyes: by the way this is me....:suss: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TFUHYG6PDfc[^]

  • What would you say if.... [modified]
    K Kuroro Rucilful

    Yeah that's very percise explanation. If you think he's on to programming then it's very fine. I suggest that even in his young age, you will treat him as adult ones. I think everyone likes it when they are treated with full confidence by their parents. Programming languages to start with? "x86 Assembly". This would be possible with the aid of you (parent). At his young age, let him experience the greatest of difficulties coz if he is ought to be a programmer then he will show signs of interest even on the toughest situations.... that would include exposing him/her to PC Architecture. :~ After he/she learn how to do some arithmetic stuff or display something, after a few years, "encourage" him in learning C/C++.... he will be glad on it...(i've experienced it too)......:rolleyes: With that firm foundation, "encourage" him to do Win32 applications... X| With that toughest training... if he has the blood of a programmer then he will be able to surpass that...... ;) And all the translated language will be a piece of bacon....:laugh:

    Hi everyone, This is a sample program in pascal with the aid of a little assembly. Assume that Mode 13h is being made before this line of code by INT 10H. Does DirectDraw has this some sort of function? ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ Writes a pixel dot of a specified color at a specified screen coordinate. On entry: AH 0Ch AL Pixel color CX Horizontal position of pixel DX Vertical position of pixel BH Display page number (graphics modes with more than 1 page) Returns: None Registers destroyed: AX, SP, BP, SI, DI ÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄÄ As seen from our SetMCGA example, you would write this by doing the following:

    mov dx,[y] mov bx,[1] int 10h end;**END;

    Thanks pal, I will refrain in using GDI or DIB coz i'm coding a time percised process with minimum frequency of 16 Hz. I've got to finish the whole single process in 0.0625 seconds.:(( I thought DirectDraw has the functionality of plotting a pixel with specified x and y axis, and also color. :(( Thanks once again:rolleyes:

    Hi, Please tell me how to plot a single dot in directx with mode 320x200. i have to plot hundreds of dots to form a figure. all the examples about directx programming tackles almost "loading" a bitmap then animating it. e.g. drawing letter "A" using only the pixels meaning drawing each pixels(with respective x and y coordinates) until you will form the letter "A". :confused:

    hello everyone, I've written a simple application that has a class(Class_A) called by WinMain's Controller class under function "Command(int cmd)" specifically IDM_RUN_PROG. The code compiles but it throws an "Access Violation" error when run. Also debugging it produced this message "DAMAGE: after Normal block(#50) at 0x008651C0" I've declared a new pointer of Class_A within the Command(int cmd) function under Controller class.:confused: "You have to be in a situation where you see just how fast things fail to make you take it seriously, I guess.
