Hello, I have tried unsuccessfully on many sites to find the answer to this so kudos if you have any insight. I am using schtasks schtasks /Create /S WS2 /RU Administrator /RP Foobar /SC ONSTART /TN MyTask /TR C:\Admin\RunMe.bat to create a task on a windows xp workstation remotely that runs a SYSTEM boot up. When I create the task remotely, occasionnaly it works fine, but usually i get a: "trust relationship for this workstation and the primary domain failed" error. I believe this might have something to do with the task trying to run before the network is fully set up etc, or somethign funky with active directory. If I run the task immedietly it works fine, only when I try to run the task on start, and only occasionally. The funny thing is, when I create the task I use the local Admin username and password, but I think it may fail because it seems to try to authenticate the credentials that I used to log into the machine to create the task FROM. Anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it? thanks steve

Is there a way (Windows API etc) to record the names of the buttons that a user clicks? I want to be able to press record, and then in other applications tell what is being pressed. Like in the "Setup" Window the left mouse button was clicked on the "OK" button. I want to do this so that I can automate documentation of installation procedures. Anyone have any ideas how I can hack the windows to capture these events? thanks L

If I have mutliple JREs installed on my machine, is there a way to have set it so that netscape 7 uses a particular one by default? Currently Netscape will use the most recently installed JRE, but is it possible to manually set it? thanks L

How can you install the DOT net framework completly silently? I use the /Q in the command line of dotnetfx.exe, but it prompts me for the lisence agreement. Is there a way to install it completly silently? I need to do an administrative install on many computers, and it is not possible to click ok for each one. thanks

Is there a way to access the programs that are built into the add/remove program in control panel. I want to be able to write a vb program or script that removes the .net framework silently. Hi, Is it possible for a visual basic application to start a vba word macro and have it end without the user noticing? What i want to do is present a user for in visual basic (not VBA) and after they click a button, have a VBA macro run on a document in the background and perform certain operations so the text is different. also, can you pass the macro value? thanks Lep
