My last visit was about 5 years ago, in Virginia mostly, but everything was super duper delicious (Yes! I gained a lot of weight here :sigh:). 5 years later, I come back here, this time Chicago, and I've tried from takeouts to fancy dine-ins but everything sucks, and all the places stink. What happened to all the good food?

I much prefer floating around when the parachute is open than the freefall.

I prefer a airplane descent that's gentle enough so that even your ears don't pop.
Soft blowing your nose during the jump usually helps. It was the 7th jump of the day for my tandem instructor and his ear was literally bleeding. Apparently, he didn't even realize it.

I went skydiving this weekend, and lived to tell about it!That's really helpful. Thanks! The trip I signed up for is open to all experience levels so I think the instructors would take us to some beginner-level route only and that shouldn't be so hard to handle.

And I noticed you're in Ireland, so don't get upset if your instructor calls you Maureen.
Been there :-D Now, I've modified my introduction for Irish people. It's Mehreen with "h".

I went skydiving this weekend, and lived to tell about it!So, I went skydiving this weekend (obviously the very first time) and FRICKIN' LOVED IT!!! I just turned 26 and decided to celebrate my birthday by jumping out of an airplane at 13,000 feet ;P What an experience! What an adrenaline rush! It's hard to describe the feeling but if you ever skydived, you would know what I'm talking about. Any other skydivers out there? Experiences?

Just bought my first car!!Thanks! I don't care much about the cars either but I at least wanted a car that's not boxey. i30 looks pretty classy and its comfortable and economic. I'm nothing but happy with my choice :)

Just bought my first car!!I wasn't exactly planning on buying any car until this morning since I'm still on my learner but fast forward a few hours and I have a Hyundai i30 in my parking. Not even sure if it's considered "perfect" for somebody's first car but who cares. It complements me and I'm just super excited to finally be part of the club

Yes! Its about half an hour walk away. Of course we can't get into water as of now but a walk on the beach could be pretty calming as well. :)
