Yep. Been there. Just a tip from someone who learned the hard way - if you need to use jScript, stay away from jQuery. You can run into version issues. Online samples all have different jQuery file versions, and they can conflict with something else you may be using. Yes, there are ridiculous work-arounds for version conflicts, but they are both confusing, and several I tried did not work, whereas jScript does not have version issues - at least that I have found. It's statements are slightly more complex, but will save you trying to figure out why a certain jQuery function you used before suddenly isn't working now.

Okay, but this is a developer assist, not a user created application; which is what my original topic was about. BizTalk was supposed to be used by analysts/power users, which never happened. While probably automating some standard processes, at $4000/$10000 per month, it would be hard to justify that expense to many medium/smaller companies. That is $48,000/$120,000 per year. Not knocking the product here. From what I see, it probably does provide some time savings - but for a steep price. But I would still bet that in complex applications, you would still be adding code.

Re-read the last few messages. According to you, "drinking the Kool-Aid" amounts to an insult. Maybe you don't want to call it a trigger, but you sure show all the signs of letting small things get to you.

You are absolutely correct. But some execs think they can cut costs using no-code, only to find out...woops. Any employee/consultant should point out to supv., mgrs., etc. the risks, and come with a warning label....'CAUTION: USE OF THIS TOOL MAY CAUSE ENHANCEMENT HEADACHES. PROCEED AT YOUR OWN RISK'. Most of the time, even with fully developed apps., users start the BTW we would like....A, B, and C; which may be out of reach of a no-code solution; especially, as you said, in larger companies. The other issue is, I have never seen a no-code solution stand the test of time, and that includes BizTalk. I will not count SSIS because it is not a UI RAD development environment.
