Hi Jeremy, I am not at all fluent with using my screen reader... I did not read the instructions and just dove in and sort of hacked around to learn... LOL so... It is not easy for me, a blind person to find this text box on this page in order to contribute. I hit the E key to find edit boxes and combo boxes and this is neither... but if I took the time to learn how to use my screen reader I probably would not have any problems... I bet a lot of blind people are like me and do not learn the "right" way to be blind? ... I endorse this post. LOL I have ignored the skip to the main content button here for years. I came here to interact with the screen reader post and the skip takes me to a welcome that I have memorized years ago? A functional skip linky would take me to what I came here for? Or a second link saying: "skip to the meat, please." would be nice? I have been blind for some eleven years now and NVDA screen reader is a vital tool for me. Thank you dear Jeremy for this post and blessings chuck 🔥 💖 🔥

Isn't it false advertising?Hello Richard Andrew x64, Hmmm... if the claim is "they can't trace you" then yes "it" is false advertising but I doubt that is the whole content of the claim... better read the fine print? I am so tempted to quip "Isn't advertising false?" It sure seems to be, to me... LOL our culture accepts all manner of false claims. We or most Human Beings believe Human Beings control Earth for instance. That is not true and yet Human Beings either believe that or just choose not to look in that direction. As a society Humans conspire to stay blissfully blind? Oops Is that religion or politics? Or is it common sense that our society is not a civilization? ... that written, One could build a dedicated chip to sit in any device and pretend to be a human for the user. The straw man chip could send all manner of counterintelligence out to scramble any profiling attempts? having a dedicated chip to do that would prevent early attempts to detect the straw person while keeping overhead down? Eventually this too will fail to prevent profiling as will all measures. Every solution must adapt with the threat? Perfection is not a destination rather it is always a journey? Sorry for the non-solutions and gravitas. I have a dark perspective from down here in my tomb or government issued comfort zone. Thanks, Richard , for asking such an open question; open to all manner of rants on my darkest pedantic pet peeves. Blessings chuck A blind Harper, harping on Human Sovereignty and Earth.

How to do a complete wipe of a system?Right... I endorse your first posting about that and fully agree. As far as I can tell there are few tools that can dig out hidden partitions now short of tools for professionals and legal forensics like DOE etc. Being paranoid as I am I like the thermate solution. AKA buying new hard drives all together and ditching the old ones... but that is for me if I am going to use a used system for myself... That said, now there is no clean and secure computer that you did not build yourself from the chip level up. There is no sort of secure? Like being sort of pregnant? Building our computers and vital infrastructure with hardware from a rival country seems like a really bad idea? but what do I know In short ignore the old man cringing and wincing in the corner and you are so right. thanks chuck

How to do a complete wipe of a system? You are right... dandy72 , I am old and have forgotten so much of what I knew. Spinright used to be able to do a low level format that could root out hidden partitions but not any more... and the Boot Tools I used to use had some other thing for the best wiping practice? I should keep my peace lest I show any more of my ignorance... sorry. reff: ""The ability to low-level format hard drives was lost back in the early 1990's when disc surfaces began incorporating factory written "embedded servo data". If you have a very old drive that can truly be low-level reformatted, SpinRite v5.0 will do that for you (which all v6.0 owners are welcome to download and run anytime)."" fromGRC | SpinRite 6.0 FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions — https://www.grc.com/sr/faq.htm I'll learn to keep quiet perhaps when I am dead? LOL thanks chuck

How to do a complete wipe of a system?Hi swampwiz, Sorry to be so late to reply. Does Microsoft still advise putting a label somewhere on or in the case of the system? I used to put the label under the power supply at the bottom of my personal unit rather than gluing it to the outside. But I'm not playing the game their way. I like some of the other solutions I am reading like switching to a Linux distro or using the built in reset. If you do do the built in reset you can then use one of the free wiping utilities to clean up what is left... Some even clean up under files by moving them from place to place on the physical disk or a good defrag program will let you do that... but it is best to recover a license. Many times you can call in to activate a system and get win ten activated without the original code Or... What is the name of that utility... something advisorDuckDuckGo? Thanks. Gather detailed system information with Belarc Advisor ... — https://www.techrepublic.com/article/gather-detailed-system-information-with-belarc-advisor/ You may be able to get the license code that way? I am sorry if I am rambling. Only just got my coffee pressed and really I'm not qualified to do more than pretend to know anything official. Still I suggest a good wiping just in case some pervert was using the system or there is a root kit on one of the system drives. hope I was some help. PS... some root kits etc even hide partitions so badly as to render a drive unclean-able without something like spinright doing a low level decontamination or... what is that term? something using professional tools like a forensics lab would use to root out those hidden partitions. blessings chuck

How to do a complete wipe of a system?Hi, GOT a Certified or legal copy of Win ten in there? If so and if you can get the activation code from the Microsoft label or you know what ever that bunch of char' are... then... Back when I could see to use DOS I would use SpinRight to completely rehab all hard drives with a deep wipe just in case there was sensitive or compromising crap that a forensics could uncover... Then do a fresh install? Or take the old drives outside and put in a shallow hole and put in plenty of thermate and burn the drives until atomized? The second solution is likely to get you in some trouble depending on your neighbors? ..., But seriously, Spin Right was my goto for several reasons. Besides security there is the nice feature of rehabilitating the drives. Hope this is of use. blessings chuck

How do you take your coffee?Hi, A... but I grind my own beens removing any beans that are not beans... You'd be surprised at what seems to pass for coffee these days. Distilled Water no fluoride please... AeroPress it and add more water to taste? or was I supposed to fill out a form... blinder than a bat... thanks for asking

How do you maintain code quality / complexity? Why maintain complexity Super Lloyd? While all the answers seem to dissolve over time like plaque the best questions persist? There is a huge problem with the prosthetics we are wearing. They are infected with malignant complexity. All the machines we are becoming dependent on are infected with a sort of cancer that has them needing to grow constantly... the code has to grow to cover the complexity in hardware and thus the hardware has to grow to cover the code overhead and on and on... and the curve is not supportable? Reduce and streamline? I challenge code and hardware manufacturers to build it and they will buy it. It being a system made in the country where it will be used. In factories that are secure... not kind of secure but absolutely secure. Build a dedicated user platform coupled with a separate and dedicated security interface with the outside. Put in one box a processor dedicated to one job, to serve the user that is protected by an optically coupled and dedicated security processor. The vast majority of the overhead in code is due to two things. One is the need to interface with a universe of devices that are full of vulnerabilities, including those made in a competing and or adversarial country? The second is integrated security stemming from all the compatibility needs, complexity of code and constant changes in all of the above. Why, oh why, not remove the negative feedback loop completely? At least do so in the most important infrastructure? ... The current state of United States computer infrastructure is an abortion! That is not my opinion it is Word! thank you for reading my rant on how we are dependent on unnecessary complexity and prosthetic devices that are a huge threat to Humanity. blessings chuck

Light mode vs. Dark modeHi, I used to use dark mode to help with my near blindness. Now that my blindness is total I fell like the best mode is light because if I am correct there are driver transistors or chips using power to twist the crystals in fact all the non char generation ones fully to make black and mostly to dark. Is this right? Using power to twist crystals seems a waist? I would love to teach my Lenovo Thinkpad to turn off the backlight and all display driving when the lid is closed. I keep it closed all the time unless I have to show a sighted person something. Good question and anticipating the comments to com. thanks.

I bought a multimeter long time agoHi, I love multi meters. I learned how to use an old Simpson in the Air Force when there was no such thing as autorainge... LOL Now I have a talking meter with a nice female voice. I never knew how freeing is a talking meter till I went blind. thanks for sharing... chuck

A question about Convid-19 vaccine shot.Thank you techie007, I admit that my anger at the word spam was wrong but I stand by my statements about the pharmaceutical industry being organized crime and Ivermectin being very powerful against severe acute respiratory syndrome. Sure I am paranoid. Paranoia is healthy when surrounded by blind and deaf and dumb people who deny that conspiracy can be. It is irrational to trust that experts are right, that conspiracy is impossible etc and it is rational to question everything and be on the lookout for criminal behaviors. I'll try and be more specific and polite then thanks chuck

A question about Convid-19 vaccine shot.Hi techie007, LOL OK then... I like capital letters too much and I do not like any of the companies who are pushing the so called vaccines. I am prejudice being a DES baby and survivor of six major surgeries... But there is plenty of evidence that Ivermectin is a powerful substance and safer than the experimental drugs that are not free and are not nearly as well tested. Ivermectin insures that I can not be infected so I say I am safer to be close to than any one who is not taking Ivermectin and do have one or more of the MRNA treatments because the jabs do not stop people from being infectious. I may be a mass murderer though so Yea that is not what I was talking about. I was not specific enough. The companies who are providing the jabs are proven mass murderers and repeat offenders though. I am not pushing any thing? I am saying please learn more... ??? prejudice much? ... thank you techie007 for contributing here and blessings chuck P.S. could tell me how to open all the comments or posts? I am blind and navigating this is very hard having to click to open then the page reloads and I have to navigate to the place again... thanks again chuck

A question about Convid-19 vaccine shot.Dear OriginalGriff, Thank you for your sharing your experience... but... I Hear my screen reader reading laughing after your quip to the effect "You may as well bend over...". I am sorry for that and your state of mind. There is a tendency in our society to laugh after admitting to something very sad like an addiction or death and or taxes. Admitting that the powers that be will force this person to get this very dangerous experimental MRNA treatment and that he has no choice but to comply is just such a sadness that is Not at all funny but very dystopian. I have followed the corona virus disease event very closely and I use Ivermectin vitamin D and zinc to stay safe. I am safer to be close to than any who has had the experimental treatment. I am sorry for any one who has had the treatment. Some day when and if you experience chronic illness like arthritis, Chromes disease, inflammatory driven complexes etc. I hope you remember this episode in your life and that the so called vaccine could be the cause. Too many people harmed by the Pharmaceutical Industry never realize why they are so sick. Please consider learning about Ivermectin, Hydroxychloroquine and other elements of proven protocols that can and do prevent and cure infections from a wide spectrum of viruses including those said to cause severe acute respiratory syndromes like covid 19 or its variants. thank you for your contribution here blessings chuck

A question about Convid-19 vaccine shot.Dear community, I wrote a reply... I used controversial words about proven medicines and got this "This message has been flagged as potential spam and is awaiting moderation" I am very sorry for this community. You are provided blinders by the masters and exploiters of Humanity here... You are infected by a very bad parasite! very sad. Do not submit to the JAB... it and I.T. are not safe and "they" don't want you to see that blessings chuck

anti-virusHi Super Lloyd, I think security of our current computers and internet infrastructure demands we build it here where we can be sure hardware is not compromised. It is either secure or it is not? Any complex system is very vulnerable to malicious tampering in environments like Taiwan where China or any other competitor has so much power and access. Build it in what ever country you hope to secure and pay close attention to whom you let in the door? ... that said, Each computer should have a dedicated security co processor with secure and efficient code that is agile and robust in my opinion... what do you think Humanity? thanks for asking

Social Engineering: A Two-Way StreetDear W∴ Balboos, GHB, Profound or Profane? Where is the line between Social engineering and covert manipulation? perhaps it is similar to the difference between a symbiotic and parasitic relationship. But from what perspective is the line drawn? Who decides when the relationship between the target and the perpetrator is equitable or abusive? I do not like being manipulated... rather I would like to be informed and give my consent to be guided... see? Informed consent and digital ethics? thanks for reading and sharing blessings chuck advocate for Earth and Human Sovereignty... and targeted individual aka covert test subject.

Surveillance CamerasDear concerned Human being... If you want security then go wired and not WIFI... that is my opinion and... the truth. Where is any router or camera made now? Either it or I.T. is secure or it is not. No such thing as sort of pregnant exists? If you did not make the router yourself or know it was made here in the United States of America or put your country here then you do not know if it is secure. An entire operating system can be slipped into a main board and only the best of thermal forensics and a pristine comparison non compromised board can work to detect the compromise. No computer is safe. Our entire security infrastructure here in America is built in places where they can be and are compromised regularly... so there is no safe and private WIFI! period end of story? ... I am just an old blind vet. I have no credentials but my forty plus years experience as a targeted individual... I am a classic "conspiracy theorist" and I am proud of that label as it is a bright Badge Of Honor/pride in this Bizarro World if this is spam then I am not sorry and your spam filters are to blame. blessings chuck a blind Harper and advocate for Human Sovereignty
