if you want to you can use system("pause") which is just like the DOS command, it will ask the user to press any key to continue, include stdlib.h

what code or function can i use to display the files in a directory in a console( but only the file names, none of the detailed stuff like is shown in DIR) and is it possible to transfer a variable in my C++ program to DOS, like if i told them to input the name of the file they want to open, but it needs to be compatable with up to 900 files in the folder(so i can't use switch() ) thanks, not sure if this can be done though

DOS prompt i use VC++ 6.0, what header can i include and what command can i use to copy the contents of a DOS screen to a file, like if i wanted to copy the directory of a folder to a file. EMAIL i made a program that displays info and i just copy and paste it to an email, is there anything i can do to just directly send the info to the email? i doubt it's possible, i want to send it to NETSCAPE COMPOSER, thanks

the answer is YES, although some job listings aren't for programming, there are a great deal out there, if you look. and learning C++ will give you a big jump on programming and other computer realted fields.hope you continue to study C++, i'm only 14 and i love it and i'm really good and it might sound wierd but i was asked to make some small company a program, and i was payed pretty well considering how simple the program was!:-D

i have KaZZA and i was wondering if it's legal if i download a version of Visual C++ 6.0, if i did would i be able to register it without WINDOWS coming and knocking on my door telling me to give it up, lol
