One strategy would be to use the CSS style attribute page-break-before: always;. Here's an example of what I mean: <html> <head> <title> Page Breaks with CSS </title> </head> <body> <form runat="server"> <p>This text should print on the first page</p> <p style="page-break-before: always;"> This Text should print on the second page </p> </form> </body> </html>

Hi. I got a bunch of strange errors but I think there must have been something wrong with the VS 2005 I am using because everything works very well in my VS 2003. It´s strange. Thanks very much for your help! By the way, you wouldn´t happen to know of some simple way of making an app stop working after a period of time. I finished making an app and I want it to only work until some day. It´s doesn´t have to be a bulletproof way as long as it is simple and works most of the time. I was thinking of perhaps making a thread that checks to see, for instance, if the year is 2007 and then it will disable some part (like the menus) of the app. How is this done if it is possible to do it this way. Thank you, F

i think they write something hidden in the registry... notice that after reinstalling windows the blocade disappears. every time you launch the program it checks wheter trial period expires or not. that's it... anyway i just guess... i don't know that for sure :).

Sure, the different approaches are based on whether the .tiff to .pdf converter program can be used inside your application or do you need to 'run' the other application. 1)Ideally what you want is the .tiff to .pdf conversion to be done by an object in your application. So if you can create/add a reference in your project to the converter program, what do you get? If the reference is created you can browse the exposed objects. Right click on the reference (in the solution explorer) to bring up the object browser (Visual Studio 2003). Then you have the task of understanding what objects to use and what they'll do for you. (Hopefully there's documentation) 2) If the other application can't be used as a reference then you will need to 'run' it outside your application. Use the link from the previous post to review how you can write code to run the application in a new process. Hopefully the converter program takes commandline input that can be set in the StartInfo.Arguements property. Hope that helps Marc L

Hi, thanks for your answer. I am talking about Outlook 2003, that´s the only program I remember at the moment that has this feature I am refering to so I am afraid I can´t point to any other programs to better explain what I mean. It is similar to TabControl and TabPage. I am sure you are right about the splitter control, I´ll take a look at it later, thanks for the tip.:) Thanks again, FJ

Please don't cross post. Standard question #4: No, "nothing" never happens. Exactly what is happening? Does the button seem to work? Does the button do a postback? Is the page replaced by the image that you created? You are writing the image to the response stream in a button event, that doesn't really work very well.
