been through the same experience for a year too after I quit my last job, a year of looking for partners to raise up a tech company. It's difficult to work from home for that long period, not going out everyday is sometimes painful, but I try to stay up-to-date in programming stuff. That not-having expected monthly pay is painful too, now surviving thanks to my parents and my savings. Have chosen office, strategic alliances, suppliers, and a marketing plan, so now returning to action, heading a team of amazing people :D

Happened to me a couple of times, those geniuses follow a profile IMO: - They think no one knows better than them - If they find someone smarter, they do the impossible to make that someone's life impossible - The managers believe them because managers like to lose money just because is pleasant to hear that kind of people - If they are software developers: - They don't use source control software - They think they are the best developers, but don't even know what a design pattern is - They do not follow the most basic coding standards - They only know what they learn in high school - If they are IT but not software developers: - They think ERP's are written by a couple of developers in less than 3 months - They don't know what QA means

I have a 22" and a 19", good for c#/any database programming... if u put 3, can be better for racing/shooting

it happens to me a lot because I mix spanish and english... english for prefixes like get, set, delete... and spanish for business objects. A friend some weeks ago wrote something like GetFacturasByFecha (which means GetBillsByDate) kinda funny when someone else checks it and tries to understand what were the developer thinking to write something like that xD

yup, the best for performance, and there are clients that keep using xp because of its performance. I always set the classic appearance on each computer I touch, to help it run faster. Vista sux so why wasting resources u want to keep ready for apps... even the few times I've used vista, I configured it with classic appearance.

It happened to me once, some time ago. I was using the front audio panel of my computer case to connect my headphones and I also connected a mouse in the front usb panel. When I moved the mouse, I used to get some strange sound. It seems it could be some interference, nothing to do with notepad2, but the computer case (in mi situation). If your situation is like mine, I suggest to change computer case

Welcome to the real world! you are human :-D I've heard that somewhere in Asia I think, the people use to sleep 1 hour after lunch. Well in most of countries this doesn't happen, so u gotta work if u are asleep or not. I suggest comfortable job place, I mean a good chair and good temperature room (19ºC - 21ºC) One kind of suggestion: try reducing amount of food at lunch! :laugh: I use keyboard and a mouse... or are they using me?

Just simple, put your four left fingers over the keys A S D F and your right fingers over the keys ; L K J And then just practice moving your fingers up and down, one by one, so you will be typing with the ten fingers of your hands Example: (well with my english I dont know the names of the fingers) The left index finger can use R T F G V B The right index finger can use Y U H J N M The other fingers will type three keys each one (ignoring the number keys), example, the left middle finger can type E D C. When I was in high school (about 12 years old) it took me 5 or 6 months to learn it from the beginning, so take your time! I'm the master of computing, but... where's the start menu? :laugh:
