Hi, I had migrated ASP.Net 1.1 application to ASP.Net 2.0. Somehow I could succesfully run the Migrated ASP.Net2.0 application and now the major issue is DEPLOYMENT. After I publish, when I host the application in a webserver where there is only .Net Framework 2.0.I am facing errors(like file not found), when I trace I could see that the migrated solution is refering to the old ASP.Net 1.1 path. and the application is not functioning perfectly its giving few errors. NOTE: I migrated to ASP.Net Web Application of ASP.Net 2.0 please guide me.

Hi, I am planning to migrate asp.net 1.1 solution to 2.0, But, after I covert the solution to VS2005 I ended up with many errors Please suggest me the available options for me. MY SOLUTION CONTAINS 4(FOUR)PROJECTS, Each project will depend on the another project. and each project will have its own web.config file. I am using a 3rd party control for UI. and after I convert the solution to VS2005. application is not running, as its resulting error saying compiler can not find few particular .dll s. But in 2003 the name of dll are with respect to namespaces, but in VS2005 its giving some other name and finally my code is not running... Suggest some efficient methodology to Migrate VS2003 application to VS2005. Thanks

Hi, I have a ASP.Net 1.1 solution which contains 4 Projects, which are inter-dependent when I make each independed(total 4)Virtual Directoried and run the application , I couldn't able to debug the application properly when I make 'Main' as StartUP Project, I can only debug main Project and if the 'Main' Project is calling some other that calling file is not debugging(It says no source code found) when I checked in Debegu-->Module it shows only one project debug symbols are loaded. I am facing problems with dll's which are generating first time, and from second time(when I chanche code)the new code is not effecting.. Plase help me, Thanks, Pashi

Thanks Again For your reply, say I am in Main Form Now. After I click on Form1 Button of Main Form, Main Form's Closing event is calling and since the in the ControlBox 'X' Button is also calling Main Form's Closing event for Main form the application is closing. So, I just want to know do I have any alternate so that, I can catch the form Closing Event I mean whether the process is entering into form closing event by ControlBox's 'X' click or while redirecting to any other form. I have Main Form which contains Exit,Form1 and few other buttons, and my functionality to close the application is written in exit button. But when user clicks any other button say,Form1 to go Form1, Since The Main Forms Close event also calling at that time the Main Form too closing not my application(So all the threads and timers that I wrote in exit button are not ending) I just want to know how to call my exit button functinality Only when user clicks ControlBox's X Button.
