Playing MP3 to the callerok, that clears it. Can't help. The operator will like you, the callers less.

Playing MP3 to the callerI'm quite sure, that playing anything to the caller before you receive the call is a service of your mobile operator and you can't handle it from your phone.

Windows ServiceYou don't need to create a service. It's easier to create a simple console aplication and run it at required times using windows scheduler.

Merge Replication SQL Server CE -
Mobile Application copying files to PCI don't know how to upload a file through ActiveSync connection directly, but one possibility is to implement a webservice on a server in your clients network and upload your data to the database via this service. You can call it from a device not only via ActiveSync connection, but using Wifi or GSM connection your device may have. Other possibilities are using SQL Server Compact on the device with merge replication to a SQL Server databese, or maybe the new Sync framework from Microsoft.

Data Loss from ExcelThe Excel driver determines type of a the column by scanning first few rows. Later it ignores all data not matching this type. I don't now a workaround for this other that preparing the excel file before (convert all data in the workbook to strings) or use an application code to import data (automating Excel or using a component like Aspose.Cells)

Because we've always done it this way...This is solution for pasenger trains.[^]. There is a wide track leading into Slovakia used to bring iron ore from Russia into US Steel Košice. Other goods are reloaded. To rebuild all tracks and vehicles in so big area would be quite an undertaking.

I imagine it is standardized today but perhaps not. Anyone know offhand?
Russian railways (and other parts of former USSR) have still wider gauges. Meeting of the two worlds between Slovakia and Ukraine.[^] Standard gauge is the left one.
