That's the problem with conspiracy theories. If you don't believe them all you might miss the one that was actually out to get you. :laugh:

How are you observing Cinco De Mayo? Tacos for lunch? Margaritas with dinner? Until today I never really read up on what was being celebrated. Apparently France was invading Mexico and this day honors a big victory in favor of the Mexican army. linky[^] Isn't this going a little overboard Mexico? I mean, if there was a holiday for every time somebody beat the French..... I kid, I kid. :laugh:

It shouldn't take up much room. Couple 3.5 disks and you should be set. Well, not counting porn sites that is.

I could be pulling this out of my ass, but isn't the general guideline for housing costs keep it under 1/3rd of your income?
I've heard that from financial advisers. But on the flip side you'll have realtors telling you to buy the absolute biggest house possible: "You'll be there for years so you'll grow into the payment."

Have you tried the internet? I hear there are lots of people there. Google ads maybe.

User stories can be great for testers but I've rarely seen them be much use for developers. I can use specs that tell me everything as form as to do. I don't have nearly as much use for a story telling me how Peggy in accounting will use the form.

I bought a dell pc a few weeks ago. After uninstalling all the crapware it's working great. But from your horror story I better hope I never need a driver for it. :~

I've been trying to convert an old app to run on Windows Phone 7. I hit a roadblock when the compiler didn't recognize XmlNode or XmlDocument. I've got a reference to System.Xml and a Using statement for System.Xml. Am I missing something simple here or do they really not support XmlNode or XmlDocument on Windows Phone 7? :confused: using System; using System.Net; using System.Xml; public class MyClass { public MyClass() { XmlNode test; // causes 'XmlNode' could not be found error. } }

Well yeah, but if they gave it all to you out of the box you wouldn't have a reason to buy Windows Phone 8 :laugh: My best guess is that they are trying to draw a line in the sand and force a hardware standard for the new OS. The old windows mobile would run tons of devices for you. But if you had a program written for a Touch pro, the chances of it working correctly on the Omnia are slim. You could usually get the cross over but it required a bunch of tinkering. Eh, who knows.

Last week Microsoft put out the SDK for Windows Phone 7. Found Here.[^] I've been playing around with the SDK and emulator a bit. I like them but the big question as always is how will the app run on a real live device? The closest actual release date I could find for a device was in September. That's a bit far off. Does anybody know how I could get my grubby little hands on one for development purposes? I haven't been able to track down any info on this and thought I'd check with the forum before wandering off to beg from random manufacturers.

Well that is one way to look at it. But to play devil's advocate... How sure are you that she isn't trying to fatten you up Hansel and Gretel style? Has she recently purchased an abnormally large cooking pot?

Have you prepared answers to all the usual questions? Describe a time you've had conflict with another person and how you resolved the situation. Why are you leaving your current position? What are you looking for from this company? Where do you see yourself in 5 years? Do I look fat in this?
