  • Shrink-To-Fit HTML for PocketPC
    P Peter Tewkesbury

There are programs which shrink html to fit a small screen See http://www.greenlightwireless.net/skweezer/default.aspx[^] 'Why use Skweezer? Skweezer's built-in browser optimizes Web content for your wireless handset, reformatting Web pages so that they load faster and are easier to view. There's no software to download onto your device and it works on practically every PDA, smartphone, and XHTML-enabled cell phone on the market. And, since Skweezer is compressing the content before it's sent to your device, pages load faster and cost you less money to download.' It is possible. I would like to know how to do this in my own apps for the PocketPC. :-D Peter Tewkesbury Lead Developer

  • Contrilling Smart App's from internal Web pages
    P Peter Tewkesbury

Hi. I am developing a Visual C++, MFC/ATL app. I have a HTML view so I can display HTML web pages which are stored in a CHM file or direct on disk. I want to be able to have a button on the web page which when pressed will call a function in my application. (Ie. Click Here to create a new document, File|New menu option) If you look at Microsoft Help for active directory, you get pages where you can click on a button which will open the MMC for Users & Computers in Active Directory. Does anyone have any Ideas how to do this? Thanks. Peter Tewkesbury Developer

  • Automating MS Office97/2000/XP with same C# Code
    P Peter Tewkesbury

Thanks for the info. I now have a working solution thanks to .NET 1. Write the base class in C# in a seperate DLL & namespace 2. Derive a new class in VB from the base class in another DLL - I can use Late Binding features of VB to automate MS Office (All Versions) without writing pages of code. 3. Use this new class in the top level program (C#) All Thanks for .NET Man I love .NET :) :) :) :) :) :) :) Peter Tewkesbury Developer ibsl technologies
