As long as the managed components are installed you just need to find the DLL's and add references to them in your project. I started looking at DirectX a week or so ago, in the end i copied the DLL's from where they were to a folder on my root drive so i could reference them easier. You could try getting involved with an open source project. Something that you could point potential employers at on the net. If you are after a games programming job, write a game. Applications programming write an application and send it with your CV. It might just give you enough of an edge. Anything that can show you have ambition and drive. Ant.
