I feel FastComet is more straight forward with features & pricing, without any traps here and there. Godaddy is the worst kind. They keep trapping money in every possible way.

Linux VPS HostingYeah DigitalOcean is very good. But some customers specifically ask for cPanel. Particularly the old customers who cannot adapt to any new management dashboard UI. I guess Digital Ocean doesnt have cPanel option.

Linux VPS HostingAnd godaddy says SSL is free for 1st year. & From next year, the cost of an SSL certificate is equal to the cost of the plan. :| X|

Linux VPS HostingAny recommendations? We usually go with Godaddy or Hostgator (Excluding cloud providers i.e Azure/AWS) But I see other brands like: A2Hosting FastComet DreamHost Hostinger Are these mushroom companies that open and shut down for their convenience? I'm not able to trust online reviews, as most of them are paid & cooked. A2Hosting looks attractive, but I'm not sure how well they do. It would be truly helpful if you share your experience/Feedback. thanks

Managing concurrency in Linq/SQLThanks, sorry may be I read him wrong. thanks for the neat explanation.

Managing concurrency in Linq/SQLlol I see it now, when I read my question again. :) My own experience is all about putting Critical sections & mutex to use to handle similar scenario's without involving DB. I was all thinking to control just with plain client code. Just like ensuring the entry gate is atomically protected or ensuring the calls reaches sequentially there through a proper queue. But Linq/SQL providing features out of the box, is awesome.

Code FirstOh thanks for the wonderful reply.

Something like "this app lets two people change the same text, and then can only save one of them".
Mate, please don't mistake. But I'm not sure why your replies are consistently sarcastic. Do you think I can apply this solution?

Managing concurrency in Linq/SQLCorrect. It's just related, but it needs us to do what you recommended in your first reply. Thats the right answer  It's explained here[^]

Another Timesheet...glennPattonWork wrote:
Time sheets
This is the only thing I'm happy about bringing this magical "Agile" process at work. Now we got rid of this time-sheet thing. But fake-agile process sucks, equally. You just need to do the right thing that fits in your teams dynamics.

Just tell customer B that you were drunk at the time and thought he was asking for the size of your bar tab... That should do the trick!

SituationCustomer-A & Customer B are into joint venture. Customer-A's manager directly interacts with us on a product. Customer-A is a long time one, so he pays only 20% of the product's cost. Customer-A introduces Customer-B. Since they are in JV, I assumed, everything is transparent. Over a conversation, Customer-B asks, how much we charge for Product-X for customer-A. I say the discounted cost. i.e $200. (When actual cost is $1000) Just after a day, Customer-A dials and warns me not to disclose the discount details. He says it's a disgrace for their brand to pay such a low amount for the product/service, (but he wouldn't pay the $1000 as well :| ) He wants to project to customer-B that he's paying $1000, the actual cost. But, now that I had already shared the details to customer-B. What a mess! Now I'm just keeping quiet. Should I go back to Customer-B & say the shared info was wrong. or should I dial back customer-A and say it's too late to correct this. (Please excuse the unprofessional data sharing. This is how things working here in mini-start-ups, since we tend to be customer friendly, we end up getting roughed up like this. But personally both these customers people are nice behaving)
